6 Solid Silver & Gilt Goblets Assayed for Birmingham 1959 by Maker -
Thomas Shaw.This is a lovely Boxed Set of 6 Solid Silver & Gilt Lined Goblets.
They are of an inverted bell shape with slim stems and circular bases.
They have gilt interiors which are of a very crisp gold colour and
all have lovely clear hallmarks. This set comes complete in
its original Black box which is in Excellent Condition

New in Store this Week - Antique French Desk - Circa 1890

This very good quality late 19th century Mahogany Desk has very good proportions and particularly well figured mahogany with a most attractive deep colour and well patinated surface. It has a Tooled Leather top which is surrounded by a band of well figured mahogany with a molded and rounded edge. To either side of the desk top are a pair of concealed writing slides which retain their original leather writing surface. This type of extending writing surface is typical of French desks of this Period.
